The I Hate Debt Radio Show Host
Tom Allen
"I Hate Debt" radio Show host Tom Allen is a veteran of the “war on debt.” Starting with his own personal battles, he has seen the insidious nature of “easy money payments” and “no money down.” Like most Americans he was tempted by the easy availability of credit. Then as his promise to only charge what he could afford to pay every month faded into history, it was replaced with the pledge to keep up with the minimum monthly payments. Soon enough the struggle to keep up with his minimum payments coincided with even more offers of easy credit and his downward spiral accelerated.

After years of effort and short-term successes he took on a serious study of why his life seemed to financially stagnate. He learned that there can be many reasons why one could wind up in debt, and more than one legitimate way out of debt. There was one simple rule that could guarantee success. But even more important than financial rules, Allen discovered that the real key to getting out of debt, as well as getting ahead financially, is in understanding the nature of money.

His twin studies of getting out of debt and getting ahead financially, led to his recent accomplishments. Putting together his “I Hate Debt” website coincided with a two year stint as the author of the Wz.com’s weekly “Getting Rid of Debt” newsletter. As the site’s debt editor, his responsibility was to scour the Internet and bring the information he uncovered back to his readers in the form of the weekly newsletter and recommendations on the best Internet sites available.

Allen forged the best information from one hundred years of financial teachings as well as his own experience and innovations into “The Art of Prosperity.” Now available as a comprehensive course that leads readers through a financial reawaking, “The Art of Prosperity” lays a strong inner financial foundation. Combined with his weekly inspirational newsletter, the “Quick Tip of the Week”, “The Art of Prosperity” forms a strong system of understanding and motivation that leads to a better relationship with money and the ability to make and keep more of it.

Since early in 2003 the “I Hate Debt” radio show has been heard from on WSRadio.com. Bringing his personal experience and knowledge to the talk show format allows him to bring expert guests and callers together in order to find workable real world solutions to the problem of run-away personal debt.
The Show
The goal is to provide individual listeners with the tools and motivation needed to overcome well-funded marketing campaigns that lead consumers into a life of "easy" monthly payments.
